Embossers
In this area of the line, the web is compressed between two cylinders, one of which is steel and bears a pattern that is transferred through pressure onto the web.
The embossing process is both functional and decorative. It combines the plies, giving the product bulk and softness.
Machines
The model XDE1 embosser, aimed at emerging markets, is designed to be added to the X3 toilet roll production line. Working in DESL mode, the XDE1 separately embosses two web plies and unites them through the application of a thin film of glue.
Nominal format: 1800 mm (70.87") to 2800 mm (110.24")
Production speed: up to 200 mpm - (656 fpm)
Glue distribution: By doctor blade and negative blade
The model XDE2 is an embosser-laminator for toilet roll and kitchen towel lines in entry level production, designed to be added to the X8 toilet roll production line. By allowing embossing rolls to be changed quickly, it adds flexibility to the entire line.
Nominal format: 1800 (70.87") - 3600 (141.7")
Production Speed: up to 450 mpm
Glue distribution: doctor blade and negative blade
