Flying splice
Reels of cardboard strips are unwound to the core winder to form cores. Some unwinder models have a strip gluing section that avoids having to interrupt the production cycle when the cardboard reel is spent.
Machines
The new model XUC1 is in-line with our XC1 corewinder for the production of wound cardboard cores, simultaneously unwinding two cardboard reels with the application of a thin layer of glue on one strip at a maximum speed of 80 mpm.
