In this part of the line, the parent reels from the paper mill are positioned for unwinding. The web is kept in tension along its path to the work stations. We offer a range of unwinders to optimize efficiency on modern converting lines.

The XU1 reel unwinder delivers the maximum flexibility and efficiency typical of our machinery, important qualities on simpler toilet roll and kitchen towel lines.
This model can unwind reels having one or more plies, a central core and a maximum diameter of 2500 mm, all at the speed of up to 450 mpm.

The new model XU2 assures maximum flexibility and efficiency even in simpler converting lines. It can unwind reels having one or two plies, a central core and a diameter of up to 2500 mm, attaining the speed of 550 mpm.
